This position reports directly to the Shipping Manager and is responsible for inspecting, packing, and shipping parts to customers or repair shops. This position also assists in freight and customer pick-up of items. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for the preparing bill of ladings and shipping documents, processing package shipments and arranging for UPS/FedEx/other carrier pick-ups.
Specific Responsibilities
Scanning RO/SO into Quantum
Process RO’s
Assist with customer and freight pick-ups
Assist sales team with support and final status of units
Ensure units are correctly labeled for shipment
Assure that all products and materials are processed and shipped in accordance with cut-off times or held for quality issues
Inspect all products and materials prior to shipping ensuring they meet the established minimum requirements provided by sales instructions and PO
Ensure that all products and materials shipped comply with export control requirements
Ensure all repair order shipments are shipped in accordance to the Repairs Department specifications
Restock shipping supplies (boxes, tape, packing slips, etc.)
Outbound inspection
Assist sales, as needed
